Beginner's Course Autumn 2024

This is an excellent opportunity to try your skill as an archer as Pepperstock Archers are hosting a beginner's Course at Houghton Regis Leisure Centre, Parkside drive, Houghton Regis. The course lasts five weeks and will commence on Monday 14th October from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm and excludes half term week. The five session dates are as follows;

• Monday 14th October 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
• Monday 21st October 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
• Monday 4th November 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
• Monday 11th November 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
• Monday 18th November 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

The cost is £55.00 for adults and £35.00 for juniors (ages 8 – 18). This price includes insurance and using the Club’s equipment for 5 weeks.

An adult must always accompany juniors under the age of 18 during the training course and further sessions if they decide to join Pepperstock as a club member.

Casual clothing should be worn but please avoid baggy sleeves, tassels, dangling earrings etc. Training includes safety instructions, developing style and technique and advice at the end of the course regarding joining the club and purchasing suitable equipment.

At the end of the training, there is the opportunity to join Pepperstock Archers.

Note: In the summer, Club evenings are on Wednesdays from May to September at Slip End

Playing Fields. Some shooting is available on other evenings and weekends.

From October until April, we shoot indoors at Houghton Regis Leisure Centre on Mondays from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
