Pepperstock Archers is thrilled to offer a Beginner's Course at Slip End and Manshead School starting in October 2026! Starting with an engaging 3 hr familiarisation session, then 3 evenings, excluding bank hols and half-term. Join us and take the first step on your exciting archery journey!

About the event
Our comprehensive Beginners Course consists of an engaging 3 hour introduction and technique building session where we get you set up with equipment, explain the safety rules and guide you through all the shooting basics up to and including shooting with sights. This is followed up with 3 further sessions where we support your continued development with 1 to 1 coaching and advice.
The initial session will be held at our outdoor venue at Slip End playing field on October 3rd from 9:30am to 12:30pm. The further 1.5 hour sessions will be held at Manshead CE Academy, Caddington, continuing on 6th, 13th & 20th October at 7:00pm.
Our training sessions cover essential skills like safety, technique, and form, and we’ll also guide you on how to progress further in the sport, including how to join the club and choose the right equipment. Plus, after completing the course, you’ll have the…
